RealClearPolitics Chief: GOP Leads in Competitive Districts

ㅤ"Democrats have lost their generic ballot lead in competitive House districts for the upcoming midterms, RealClearPolitics President Tom Bevan told ‘Fox & Friends’ on Monday, calling it a ‘good sign for Republicans’ with elections so close.
ㅤBevan said that although Democrats have a 9 percentage-point advantage in a generic ballot nationwide, Republican actually hold a 45 percent to 44 percent lead in the 69 most competitive districts.
ㅤ’What that suggests is that Democrats are overperforming in very blue districts, very blue states, but not as much in some of these more competitive districts,’ Bevan said. ‘And that’s a good sign for Republicans I think, just two weeks before the election.’"
