Texas Judge Rules Obamacare Unconstitutional

  1. District judges are always striking down Republican policies so turn about is fair play. However, a judge should not have the power to rule on issues that are the purview of Congress or the Supreme Court. When the federal judge in San Francisco ordered President Trump to rescind his asylum directive regarding the caravan, I would have told the judge to stuff it.

    1. Obamacare will indeed end up in the Supreme Court, assuming the court decides to hear the case. It occurred to me that the district court may have waiting for SCOTUS to become more conservative before O’Connor made his ruling.
