Republicans Finally Get Mad – But Will It Last ‘Till The Midterms?

We cannot afford to get complacent if we want to convince the Democrats that yes, they really did lose in 2016, and no, they have no legitimate reason to have spent the past two years trying to nullify it, acting like there’s nothing wrong with their party, and becoming more and more radical in the outlooks, convictions, and policies that led to their loss.

The only way to convince them seems to be to sweep Congress. Failing that, even a virtual tie (no blue wave, but no real gains for the GOP) leaves the door open to Democrats claiming they deserve to be in power, should have never lost, and have no reason to get their party in order or change direction. Establishment politicians like Feinstein, Pelosi, Waters, Schumer, and Menendez will double down on the corporatism they long ago embraced to retain power; hard left upstarts like Cortez, Bernie…

After Dems Fail on Kavanaugh, Poll Shows Washington State Battleground District Moving Safely Back to GOP

ㅤ”At 49 percent, Rossi leads Schrier’s 39 percent, well outside the poll’s five percent margin of error. The survey of 400 eligible voters was conducted from Oct. 4 to Oct. 9 by Crosscut/Elway.
ㅤIn a piece on the poll, Crosscut’s David Kroman wrote that this was unmistakably due to the Democrats’ mishandling of the Kavanaugh confirmation.
ㅤ’Rossi, a former state senator and real-estate investor, saw an especially large bump last weekend, claiming a 24-point advantage among voters surveyed in the hours and days immediately after the U.S. Senate’s vote to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh,’ Kroman wrote. ‘Those respondents made up nearly a third of the total voters surveyed.’
ㅤKroman’s piece cites Elway Research President and pollster Stuart Elway as saying it appears as though the Democrats’ handling of Kavanaugh has ‘erased’ their advantage heading into the midterms.
ㅤ’What appears to have happened here is the Kavanaugh hearings have erased [the Democrats’] advantage,’ Elway, whom Crosscut notes has an A plus rating on FiveThirtyEight after decades of polling work, said. ‘Now it looks like what you would have expected this district to look like before everyone was talking about a blue wave.’..”

Dems retake wide lead over Republicans ahead of midterm elections: poll

ㅤ"Democratic voters are currently fired up to vote in the midterms in a way not usually seen, pollsters found, pointing to 63 percent of Democrats and Democratic-aligned voters surveyed who said they did not vote in 2014’s midterms but will vote this time around."

ㅤô¿ô …Unfortunately there’s no "firing up" Republicans to vote because Republicans always vote.
ㅤHowever, we of the GOP could buy our Dem alcoholic friends a lot of drinks the night before midterms so they’ll be too hung over to vote.
ㅤNothing illegal about putting Dem drunks where they’ll end up being anyway. Be merciful. Remember to call them a cab.
