Trump submits written answers to Mueller

ㅤ"’The President today answered written questions submitted by The Special Counsel’s office. The questions presented dealt with issues regarding the Russia-related topics of the inquiry. The President responded in writing,’ said Jay Sekulow, one of Trump’s outside lawyers.
ㅤRudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer, said the President decided to answer written questions even though his legal team believes ‘much of what has been asked raised serious constitutional issues and was beyond the scope of a legitimate inquiry.’
ㅤ’The President has nonetheless provided unprecedented cooperation,’ said Giuliani. ‘It is time to bring this inquiry to a conclusion.’"

Trump's lawyers reject Mueller's latest terms for interview: report

ㅤ"The New York Times reported that attorneys Jay Sekulow and Rudy Giuliani did not completely reject an interview, but instead countered Mueller’s offer with another one of their own. The lawyers did not comment on the specifics of their proposal, but sources told the newspaper that it rules out potential questions about obstruction of justice."

House Intel Votes To Shut Down Russia Investigation, Release Final Report


ㅤ”The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence voted along party lines on Thursday to formally end the panel’s Russia investigation and to release a report about the probe to the rest of Congress.
ㅤThe 150-page report will now undergo a classification review by the intelligence community to determine what information must be redacted in the document. After it goes to Congress, the report will be made public. That is expected to happen within the next several weeks.”

Trump approves memo release


ㅤ”Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump suggested the document shows political bias at the FBI that tainted the probe into whether his campaign cooperated with Russia’s election meddling.
